The Employee Relations Director role is a critical role in providing strategic and inspirational leadership to the Regional HRBPs while they advise and coach our local leadership teams on employee relations and culture building initiatives. Developing and implementing strategies to improve employee engagement, resolving conflicts, ensuring compliance with labor laws and providing opportunities for our frontline leadership to improve and learn are a key focus. The Employee Relations Director will strategically partner with regional and local leadership to align HR activities with the business objectives of the local offices. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and has deep experience in employee relations.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
1.
Provide direction, coaching and mentorship to the Employee Relations team, foster consistency and shared best practices while enabling regional flexibility as needed.
2.
Develop and implement employee relations strategies aligned with Giving’s organizational goals, including employee engagement, performance management and conflict resolution.

In collaboration with the local leadership teams, proactively recognizes opportunities for HR to add or improve value within the office, region, and across the company.
4.
Own high-level employee relations issues, guiding HRBPs on complex investigations, performance concerns, and policy interpretation.
5.
Support efforts that focus on organizational effectiveness improvement, high performance, communication, coaching and accountability; help the workforce prepare for and adapt to any potential changes that Giving Home may experience.
6.
Develop and deliver tools, resources, and coaching to frontline managers to help them grow as people leaders.
7.
Use HR data to identify trends, inform decisions, and recommend improvements; help develop practical reporting tools that drive insight and accountability
8.
Ensure the organization adheres to all relevant labor laws and regulations, including EEO, ADA and other employment-related legislation. Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence.
9.
May have responsibility for providing HRBP support to our smaller offices and guide and advise those managers on corrective action, development plans, and performance differentiation.
10.
Travel as needed to our site locations.
